Parochial school registration for
incoming 9th grade students
has been postponed and will be

Omg. Omg. Omg. Omgggggggg. 

 So, I am pretty much deliriously happy right now. More then deliriously happy. I am so crazy happy it's not even funny. Really! I'm like, bouncing in my seat right now, and grinning ear to ear, and I just can stop! :D:D:D I'm so happy that I'm about to explode.  I know I haven't posted here in like a month, but I've got news. Big news. News that makes me jump up and down and scream and yell and celebrate and blast my music and dance around and sing loudly and run around the house like a crazy person. A very happy crazy person! I just want to cry with happiness right now. 

Anyway, as most of you know, my brother, Tim, is in the U.S. Marines, and he was deployed to Iraq a few months ago, on November 17, 2009. Most of you also know that he's coming home. Well, it was sort of unreal to me, you know? Like... it was kind of a dream, right? Kind of... well, I knew he was coming home, but it just didn't sink in. And it just did, like five minutes ago. I GET TO SEE HIM. I GET TO SEE HIM TOMORROW.  Omg, I'm so happy. SO FREAKING HAPPY! It's unreal. I just want to... I dunno! :D But I'm so crazy happy and hyper right now. The fact that I get to see him in less then twenty-four hours is just so amazing. So awesomely amazing. I missed him so much, and it's really great to know that he's going to be home. Home safe. It's just... I can't even put into words how happy I am. 

And you wanna know what the best part is? 

He'll be home for my mom's birthday.

This is the sky, on my very first morning back to school after Winter Break. It's so depressing to have to be up before the sun. I have to be in school at 7:45am, which is totally unfair. I hate it. I can't even function until it's at least 10am.

My mommy bought me a giant lollipop and a Reese's snowman from CVS. :D I was happy.

I both hate and love this paper right here. It is the paper detailing everything I need to do for my LAST Spanish project. I'm glad to be done with that class, but I learned a lot there, I think. I know how to speak a lot more Spanish now then I did before I took it. :D And I have a good teacher, even if I don't really like her. I know I'll miss her when I go on to Spanish 2 next year. But I also know I'll be glad not to have her again. xD
 
OKAY. SO. Finals. They are in two weeks, on January 20th and 21st. The week of Martin Luther King day. So I have that Monday off. Then a regular full day of classes. It will be my last regular day of all my classes this semester, except for English, which is a full year class. Then the finals begin on Wednesday. We take our Block 1 and Block 2 finals that day. I don't have a final in my Block 1 class, which is English, so I don't have to be in until 9:15am, which is when we begin taking our Block 2 final. Then I get to leave at 10:33am. The next day is our Block 3 and Block 4 finals, which I have to be there the whole day for- 7:45am to 10:33am. Then I'm done, and we have Friday off. So that's pretty cool. Not the finals part, but the early days and having the Friday off is. :D 

 As it is now, though, I'm getting a lot of homework and projects and things. Like, I've got a three-page book report due Monday, and I just spent hours working on tonight's homework. My final Spanish project is due Thursday. I have to present it, which I really don't want to do. I hate presenting things. But I'll be glad when this semester is over, because I'm looking forward to going onto my next classes. This first semester has really flown by.
